Join a leader in high-precision manufacturing with centres of excellence in the UK and Poland. We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join an expanding team in Basildon. This role is crucial for producing high-quality products that meet design and quality standards.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Load materials and unload finished products from CNC machines.
• Operate CNC machines to cut, grind, or drill materials as required, adjusting speeds, cutter paths, and other settings to ensure optimal operation.
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines and company procedures, including operating standards and process documentation.
• Maintain accurate logs of production, equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs, and conduct machine inspections for mechanical or safety issues.
• Ensure machines are well-stocked with tools and materials to minimise downtime.
• Maintain a safety-focused environment to ensure the safety of oneself and others around operational machinery.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support production requirements during peak periods.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Time-served CNC Machinist.
• Experience in CNC Milling or CNC Turning.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proven experience working to high quality standards on precision components.
• Familiarity with safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures.
