Job Title: Broker Onboarding Associate – 12 month FTC
Division: Compliance
Reports To: Compliance Officer – Broker On-Boarding

Job Summary: To assist the team in maintaining efficient broker on-boarding processes

Key Responsibilities:

Broker Onboarding Support
  • Receive and process requests for onboarding of new brokers, utilising relationships with external service providers
  • Carrying out due diligence on brokers and escalating, where necessary
  • Create, submit, receive, amend and store documentation, specific for each legal entity
  • Attend team meetings with the wider broker onboarding team across the group.
  • Generate MI for the work performed in the month
  • Referral of technical queries to relevant stakeholders
  • Management of the broker onboarding email inbox
Broker/Client Interaction
  • Provide a professional service to brokers in writing
  • Maintain and develop key relationships including brokers, underwriters, outsource providers, and responding to client queries in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Maintain data on internal systems in accordance with Beazley data standards.
  • Support any project work required.

  • Carry out additional responsibilities as individually notified, either through your objectives or through the learning management system. These may include membership of any Beazley committees or working groups.

Education and Qualifications
  • Educated to A-Level (or equivalent) standard
Skills and Abilities
  • Computer skills – good working knowledge of MS Office, well developed spreadsheet skills and the ability to learn new software packages
  • Able to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing
  • The ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise
  • Additional languages of French or German desirable
Knowledge and Experience
  • Administrative experience, preferably within the insurance, legal or financial services sectors desirable
  • Proven background in accurate, high volume date entry desirable
  • Insurance and / or legal experience advantageous
