Are you a Geotechnical Design Engineer with over 5 years of experience Do you have experience working on major infrastructure projects Salary circa £ 45 000 to £ 60 000

• BEng MEng degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• Minimum 5 yeras of proven experience in geotechnical design engineering
• Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS WALLAP Slope W)
• Chartered preferred
• Experience working collaboratively in teams and mentoring junior engineers
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to manage complex ground engineering challenges
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement

• Conduct detailed geotechnical design for rail infrastructure projects including foundations slopes earthworks and retaining structures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide geotechnical input on project designs
• Carry out ground investigations and interpret data to inform design and construction methodologies
• Assess geotechnical risks and provide practical solutions to mitigate issues
• Prepare high-quality technical reports design calculations and documentation for project submissions
