Rural and Wildlife Crime Partnerships Manager

Main Purpose of Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with, and providing a link between, Nottinghamshire Police and external and internal partners, including rural communities to ensure a professional image of the organisation is maintained at all times.

The postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day logistics and budget management to support operational delivery of rural and wildlife crime prevention and detection.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in financial and logistics co-ordination;
  • Evidence of leading and inspiring a team to achieve results within a time critical environment;
  • Established themselves as an accomplished communicator who is able to positively develop relationships, negotiate and influence.

Education & Qualification Required:

The successful candidate will:

  • Have Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in English and Mathematics, or be able to demonstrate a high degree of spelling, grammatical and numerical accuracy;
  • Be required to attend various training courses for health and safety and IT systems and be trained in Nottinghamshire Police's policy and procedures.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have excellent interpersonal and planning skills, and be able to work effectively on their own or as part of a team;
  • Be able to prioritise workload, and the ability to use his/her initiative to make sensible judgements as part of a structured approach to solving problems;
  • Be trustworthy, and able to demonstrate a high level of integrity;
  • Be dynamic, motivated and exhibit a strong public-focus work ethic;
  • Be willing to offer periodic flexibility around working hours;
