Dialysis & Outpatient Administrator to support NCL renal satellite units
Successful candidates are required to cover multiple sites.
We have vacancies at Edgware Kidney Care Centre and St Pancras Dialysis Unit.
Key tasks:
- Booking patient transport including rapid response
- Supporting with maintenance/logistic issues, escalating to Assistant Service Manager where appropriate
- Making e-courier bookings for emergency bloods
- Booking and monitoring transport issues including recording incidents
- Coordinating haemodialysis clinic appointments for recent inpatients returning to dialysis
- Outpatient clinic reconciliation
- Cross cover of other sites
- Other administrative tasks as required within working hours
Main duties of the job
The Dialysis & Outpatient Administrator is responsible for providing a front-line reception service to the unit/centre and for delivering a high standard of customer care to a wide range of client groups, including the unit/centre’s multi-disciplinary team, patients, relatives and their carers.
Our department is looking for administrative members to join the team.
The individual will be placed within one of our four off-site dialysis units.
Our satellite locations are: Tottenham Hale Kidney Care Center
St Pancras Kidney & Diabetes Centre
Edgware Kidney Care Center
and Barnet Dialysis Unit
If you are energetic, methodical, flexible, reliable, computer literate, proactive, able to cope with new challenging priorities and preferably with some NHS experience then we would like to hear from you.- The dialysis units are open Monday to Saturday from 0700am - 0100am
- Admin working hours between 0730am-2000 Monday to Friday
- 37.5hrs full time only
