Warehouse Supervisor

We currently have the pleasure of hiring for our client who are a dynamic and growing company who specialize in packaging solutions, dedicating to delivering quality products and exceptional service to customers. They are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team and lead the warehouse operations.

As Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient management of inventory, staff and logistics. This role requires a hands-on leader with excellent organizational and communication skills.

You will be working rotating shift patterns of 7am-4:30pm and then 10:30am-8pm with a 45 minute break.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage team workload, tasks, and shifts.
• Oversee goods-in processes including unloading, quality checks, and stock put-away.
• Handle stock replenishment and conduct regular stock checks.
• Supervise order picking and preparation.
• Implement and oversee order checking procedures.
• Maintain a tidy and orderly warehouse and yard area.
• Load delivery vehicles efficiently.
• Process parcel and pallet carrier orders.
• Organize efficient waste management and disposal (cardboard, plastic, pallets, and general waste).
• Perform associated administrative tasks related to the warehouse.
• Resolve queries and issues promptly.
• Assist with logistics route planning when required.
• Provide absence cover for the Logistics Team Leader.
• Assist with health and safety actions and ensure compliance.
• Contribute to process review and improvement initiatives.
• Conduct training and performance reviews for warehouse staff.

Certifications/Licenses Required:

• Clean driving license
• FLT licenses (counterbalance and narrow aisle/flexi preferred)
