Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Birmingham

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • 1. Provide tailored educational support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • 2. Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.
  • 3. Deliver engaging lessons and activities to enhance students' academic and social development.
  • 4. Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
  • 5. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' overall well-being.

Required Qualifications:

  • - Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  • - Experience working with students with SEN.
  • - Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures.

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • - Strong understanding of different learning styles and abilities.
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • - Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • - Additional qualifications in Special Education or SEN support.
  • - Training in behaviour management techniques.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
