Catering Assistant - Full Time - Marina Leisure Centre
An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join our team at Freedom Leisure, one of the fastest growing and successful leisure and cultural trusts in the UK. We are seeking an innovative and inspirational management team to be instrumental part of our team at the new £26 million Marina Centre which opened in August 2022.
The Marina Centre, providing an exciting range of activities for residents and visitors alike. Including a leisure pool with two slides, fun splash zone, clip and climb, impressive fitness suite and exercise studios and sports hall providing a wide range of activities.The centre also boasts an amazing café overlooking the beach, providing a focal point for the community.
We are looking for a temporary Catering Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. You will provide an efficient catering service, preparing food and drinks as required and will be part of the Costa Coffee proud to serve club. You will be delivering excellent customer service at all times.Ideally coming from a similar role, you will be a genuine team player, able to work off your own initiative and be enthusiastic and motivated. Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (Rota basis)- This is a temporary position for cover up to 12 months.
- To provide an efficient catering service, prepare food as required, provide excellent customer service at all times and maintain a hygienic catering area.
- To operate catering equipment effectively and safely, ensuring high standards of hygiene throughout all catering outlets and the centre.
- To provide an excellent level of customer service at all times. To deal with any customer contact/complaints/comments professionally and courteously
- Experience of working in a catering or cafe role
- A genuine team player and have a high level of responsibility, flexibility, enthusiasm and motivation.

Salary: Up to £22,069 per annum
