Overview
This is a self employed employment opportunity where the pay is negotiable. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment.This is a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance tasks, including but not limited to simple electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members
- Diagnose and address maintenance issues efficiently and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs and materials used
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Must hold a full and valid UK driving license. Travel to different sites as needed for maintenance tasks
- Proven experience in maintenance or related field
- General maintenance work including resealing, lock changes and general day to day repair
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Simple electrical repairs and plumbing skills with fault finding of potential leaks, isolating valves etc
- Customer service-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
