Job Description- Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment
- Regular checks on machinery to ensure optimal operation
- Responding promptly to machinery breakdowns
- Identifying and resolving mechanical issues
- Assisting in the installation of new machinery and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Keeping detailed records of work performed and machinery status
- Collaborating with the wider engineering team to meet department objectives
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Mechanical Fitter' should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the Industrial Manufacturing industry
- An approximate salary range of £43,000 per year
