Hours: 22.5 per week (Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 7:00 – 15:00)

The shop is known for its friendly atmosphere and commitment to excellence. They are looking for a part time Shop Assistant to join the butchery team and help them to supply their customers both retail and wholesale.
About The Position
The successful Shop Assistant will be dedicated and hardworking, to assist both front of house with serving customers and support the Butchers to prepare orders, such as making burgers, and other fresh meat items ready for delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with purchases
- Handling cash and card payments
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop facilities and equipment
- Prepare meat items, such as burgers to ensure orders are ready for customers
- General Assistant activities to ensure that the shop is running smoothly
- Butcher Assistant duties to ensure that meat orders are ready for collection
- Good attention to detail
- Enthusiasm and commitment
- Able to handle fresh meat
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Good customer service skills
