We are looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent this September. In this role, you will teach English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a love of literature and language in your students.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills, as well as preparing them for their GCSE exams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the English curriculum and will be able to create lessons that are both challenging and accessible for all students. You will be expected to use innovative teaching methods, including project-based learning, to engage students and encourage critical thinking.

The school offers a well-resourced department and encourages professional development through collaborative planning and regular training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching English to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
