Main duties of the job
This is an exciting time to be working at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join the legal services team as a legal officer at our Royal Free Hospital site, to assist in the provision of a dedicated in-house legal advice service.
This is an interesting and varied role and presents an exciting opportunity for an individual who has an interest in health law and legal practice.
The key elements of the role for the successful candidate are:
- Undertaking preliminary investigations and liaising with the court in coroners' inquests cases
- Undertaking preliminary investigations in personal injury cases and liaising with lawyers and indemnity providers; and
- Supporting the legal services team in the provision of a high quality, dedicated in-house legal advice service.
