From exploration to trade, SGS helps clients boost efficiency, stay compliant, and reduce risk-backed by cutting-edge labs, digital tools, and a global network.Job Description Job Title: Jetty Operator/ Port Operator Job Type: Part Time, 24 hours per week (Two 12 hour shifts, variable days) Job Location: Belfast Hourly rate: £18,358 Industry: Oil Help vessels dock safely and oversee the transfer of oil and gas products.
Monitor storage tanks to make sure there/s no underfilling or overfilling.Keep the jetty clean and safe.
Carry out safety checks before and after ships arrive.
Report any safety issues or incidents.
Qualifications Experience isn/t required for this role.
What matters is that you/re comfortable working varied hours, have good availability, and are prepared for a physically demanding, outdoor job.
How to be a successful candidate Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work outdoors and handle physically demanding tasks.
Willingness to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.
A valid driving license.
