Levy UK is the official catering partner to Chelsea FC & Brentford FC responsible for the catering at both venuesChelsea Football Club estate, including Stamford Bridge stadium, Chelsea FC’s training facility in Surrey, Frankie’s Bar & Grill and the Womens team home ground at Kingsmeadow has been in the Levy family since 2005.
Levy Cleaning is the estate wide cleaning service for Chelsea FC. At Chelsea we cater for an estimated 1.15 million fans annually. Delivering catering across 43 public outlets, 58 boxes and 20 suites on match-days. There are over 1,000 corporate and private events are held at Stamford Bridge each year.

The new Community Stadium at Brentford FC was mobilised by Levy in 2020/21 and caters for up to 17,500 on a matchday with a fast growing non-matchday business

Nature and Scope of Role
delivering timely and accurate financial reporting through the completion of daily tasks including takings reconciliation for the sales and purchase ledger function. Underpinned by an organised and proactive attitude with a focus on relevant company and finance policiesReporting to Finance Business Partner and working closely with culinary, operations team as well as the wider finance team and senior management at both venues and the Levy family

  • Purchases & costs
  1. Reconciliation of all purchases using Foodbuy & SAP bi-weekly
  2. Highlighting and investigating variances
  3. Reviewing all outstanding action on Foodbuy
  4. Ensuring all purchases are correctly approved and coded
  5. Maximising purchasing compliance
  6. Supplier statements
  7. Sales & revenue
  8. Reconciliation of daily taking for all operational units, investigating and highlighting variances
  9. Monthly, matchday and adhoc billings
  10. Ensuring correct client codes and/or purchase order numbers are used
  11. On account charges, approval and cross-charging
  12. Maximising purchasing compliance
  13. Supplier statements
  14. Management Accounts
  15. Completion of all reconciliation to month end deadlines
  16. Ensure minimal outstanding queries
  17. Support with adhoc analysis as required
  18. Other
  19. Health & Safety: maintain compliance and personally demonstrate that you take responsibility for your own and others safety

  • At least 4 years experience in a finance role
  • Ideally studying for a CIMA/ACCA
  • Accuracy and the ability to hit time pressured deadlines
  • Confidently able to manage a wide range of activities across a fast-moving business, in a calm and structured manner
  • Well organised, process driven with the ability to problem solve
  • Can communicate well with all levels of colleagues and will have the confidence to persevere
  • Flexibility and a can do attitude
