Are you a passionate and fully qualified Design & Technology Teacher looking for a new opportunity? A coeducational secondary school in Portsmouth is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from half term.This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work, ensuring progress for all learners.
- Inspire creativity and problem-solving skills through hands-on practical projects.
- Maintain a safe and well-managed learning environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support students of all abilities, providing differentiation to cater to individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities related to the subject.
- Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant subject specialism.
- Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high-quality teaching.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to engage and challenge all learners.
