As the Senior Mortgage Underwriter in Bridging Finance, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment and decision-making process for high-value and complex loan applications. - Review and analyse detailed financial documentation, including valuations, borrower profiles, and property information
- Work closely with internal teams, brokers, and solicitors to ensure a smooth, timely completion of each loan
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior underwriters, ensuring the team consistently meets performance standards
- Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to provide relevant insights to the business
- Participate in credit committee discussions, contributing to the decision-making on high-value loans
