Rate: £50 - 55 per hour (umbrella)Location: East Anglia

About the Civil Litigation Lawyer Role:
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority based in East Anglia. The role will be for an initial 3 month period with a strong possibility of this being extended.
The lawyer will be overseeing debt recovery and insurance matters within the Litigation Department. Although full-time work is favourable the council will also consider 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities of the Civil Litigation Lawyer role:
The successful Litigation Solicitor or Barrister will be able to 'hit the ground running' and manage their own caseload of matters which may include:
- Civil litigation /insurance experience with a Council
- Experience in debt cases for care home fees, particularly planning enforcement, drainage and highways issues, adverse possession, and human rights claims
