We're working with a cutting-edge Renewable Energy business at the forefront of solar and battery storage (BESS) innovation. As the company continues its rapid growth, they are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead the charge on performance, process optimisation, and operational delivery across their portfolio.

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of operations across solar and BESS assets.
• Oversee asset performance, maintenance strategies, and compliance standards.
• Build and lead high-performing operational teams and third-party partnerships.
• Define and implement strategies for process improvement and cost efficiency.
• Support project development and delivery from an operational perspective.
• Ensure HSE best practices and regulatory compliance across the portfolio.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Development teams.

• Proven leadership experience within renewable energy, ideally solar and/or BESS.
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen with experience managing large portfolios.
• Track record of delivering operational excellence and driving performance metrics.
• Ability to lead hybrid teams and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Deep understanding of UK energy markets, grid operations, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.

• £120,000 annual salary + Car Allowance.
