Clinical Coder (Part Time)

Practice Plus Group, Emersons Green and Devizes are hiring a part-time (22.5 hrs per week) Clinical Coder who will be based at our Emersons Green Hospital in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop your career in Clinical Coding, under the supervision and guidance of our Senior Finance Manager.
You will apply your experience of having previously worked in Healthcare administration and patient administration systems. About the Role: To analyse, interpret, abstract relevant information (including complex conditions and treatments) and code patients clinical case notes using Nationally Agreed Classifications and Codes currently ICD10 and OPCS 4 classifications as per Trust requirements.

To ensure accurate, timely and consistent clinical coding within set national standards and targets. (This coded information is then used in Payment by Results; analytical and epidemiological studies, and for planning and information both locally and nationally.)
