The Heathland School is an 11-18 oversubscribed school with over 1800 students on roll and a large (500+) Sixth Form.

The intent of the Physical Education Department is to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to lead and maintain a healthy and active life.
We value sport at The Heathland and are committed to the participation of all students with a strong emphasis on extra-curricular enrichment and providing students with opportunities to compete in fixtures as appropriate.

§ Outstanding facilities on a thirty-acre site, including a well-equipped Sports Hall with a climbing wall, a gymnasium, a floodlit Astroturf, six tennis courts, five netball courts, an all-weather cricket wicket, outdoor cricket nets and several grass pitches.There is also a Fitness Studio with a state-of-the-art training rig and aerobic machines as well as six outside basketball rings.
