Job Description
Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:
- Match invoices to stock receipts
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare the quarterly VAT return for Management review
- Administration of VAT from imports / exports
- Produce remittance schedules from customer portals
- Resolve incomplete invoices manually
- Ensure invoices and payments received are correctly posted
- Ad-hoc duties as required
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have:
- Experience working within a similar Accounting role - Required
- Be studying towards or fully AAT qualified - Desirable
- Ability to work well under pressure - Required
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
- Strong organisational, time-management and interpersonal skills - Required
- Ability to work well alone or as part of a team - Required
