Teaching Assistant/Nursery Assistant (Special Educational Needs)

Your new role

Position: Teaching Assistant/Nursery Assistant Location: Rugby Contract: Full-time/Part-time (flexible hours available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the learning and development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Work closely with children with SEN, providing tailored assistance to meet their individual needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to ensure holistic development.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEN is essential.
• Ideally, Early Years qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Childcare/Early Years Education), but candidates with relevant SEN or primary school support experience are welcome to apply.
• A strong understanding of EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
