Care Worker
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Care Worker, on a 1-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.26 - £15.39 per Hour
Summary:
The Care Assistant will be responsible for providing personal care and support to service users within a designated setting. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of individuals while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to health and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
To undertake personal tasks as described in the Care Plan including washing, dressing, and assistance with mobility whilst respecting the individuals privacy and dignity.To use any equipment as directed by the Care Plan, once appropriate training has taken place.
To contribute verbally to the assessment, planning, implementation and review of Care Plans.
To observe and accurately communicate changes in Service Users needs and contribute to the written Care Plan.
To assist Service Users management of personal resources including shopping, letter writing, prescription collection and escorting, including accurate records of associated transactions.
Qualifications:
Experience in a similar care role is desirable.NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding principles.
Ability to communicate effectively with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Awareness of equal opportunities and diversity considerations in care.
