Senior GIS Consultant - Abingdon
RPS is looking for a GIS Consultant with prior commercial experience to join our Digital and Design Team, part of our UK Planning and EIA team. The team use technology to support an exciting range of projects including some of the UK's most important renewable energy projects.

What you’ll be doing
Working within our GIS Team, you will be producing maps, data and analysis for planning and EIA projects. We work primarily in ArcGIS Pro, with some tasks in AutoCad, FME and Adobe suite. Typical tasks could be:
- Developing ArcGIS Online maps and apps.
- Data management
- Map production for reports
- GIS data analysis
- Mapping environmental constraints.
- Ecological survey data management.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for someone with experience in the following areas:
- Commercial GIS, ideally within EIA/planning.
- ArcGIS Pro
- ArcGIS Online
- Data management
- Map design for print and presentation.
- FME
- ESRI Field Maps/Sweet/Survey 123
- Python and Arcade
- Website creation.
- AutoCAD
- Adobe Suite
