We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Subject Leader for Mathematics who can lead an experienced and committed subject team in a strong academic environment, where mathematics is highly valued. The vacancy has arisen following the retirement of the previous post holder.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and skilled classroom practitioner with a track record of innovation and securing excellent outcomes. We welcome applicants from current heads of department, looking for a fresh challenge or colleagues with some experience of curriculum leadership, for example as a second in department who are looking for the next step in their career.The successful applicant will teach mathematics to all key stages. A significant number of students study mathematics in the Sixth Form and a strong academic background and the ability to teach A-Level Further Mathematics is essential. Langley Grammar School has an excellent record for student outcomes in mathematics and the subject is a very popular subject amongst our students.

Langley Grammar School is a co-educational 11-18 selective school with academy status, located within easy reach of Langley station and the M4. We have approximately 1280 students, over 370 of whom are in the Sixth Form. The school was last inspected in 2021 by Ofsted and was graded outstanding in all categories.
