A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineer to join a UK known food manufacturer in the Somerset Area!
With no day ever being the same the Civil Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender process with project description, technical specifications, drawings, price to prepare technical specifications and basic engineering for tender process (civil, mechanical or electrical)
- Analyze and discuss suppliers offers and prepare technical information and comparison tables for investment expenditure proposals
- Prepare basic engineering for project feasibility studies
- Monitor and analyze the risk assessment studies of the new projects
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Concrete industry experience - necessary
- Experience working in a civil, mechanical or electrical engineering position previously
- Experience working to budgets and scheduling work
- Experience with site layouts and flow-sheets
- Hugh health and safety awareness
