Apprentice Communications and Partnerships Assistant - 2 Year FTC

We are looking to appoint an Apprentice Communications and Partnerships Assistant on a 2 year fixed term contract.
This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience and develop essential skills in the field of PR and Communications while working towards a recognised qualification. This role will support the delivery of effective communication campaigns and activities across multiple channels, helping to promote key messages to a variety of audiences.
Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, and content production while ensuring the development of the skills aligned with best practices in public relations, research, and project delivery.
Studies will be delivered online by the Cambridge Marketing College over a 14 month period. At the end of the apprenticeship you will have gained the Level 4 PR & Communications Assistant Apprenticeship.
Responsibilities- Assist in creating engaging content for various platforms, including press releases, articles, social media posts, blogs, and newsletters.
- Support the production of non-written content, such as videos, graphics, and infographics, to enhance audience engagement.
- Manage content distribution across social media channels and other communication platforms.
- Conduct desk research and analyse qualitative and quantitative data to support campaign planning and evaluation.
- Assist with event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and gathering feedback.
- Maintain and update databases and IT systems in line with performance and service requirements.
- Work collaboratively across the team, supporting colleagues where required
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
- Content creation for social media, newsletters, and research dissemination, tailored to the needs and preferences of the relevant audience to ensure effective communication and engagement.
- Administrative and organisational skills for events and campaigns.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and media list management.
- Design support for visual materials, such as presentations and infographics.
- Collaborative and independent working skills
- Use IT systems and software to support campaigns.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the apprenticeship, you will have gained hands-on experience in communications, content creation, stakeholder engagement, and administrative support, providing you with essential skills for a successful career in communications and public relations.
Requirements- GCSE English and Math 4 / C minimum (essential)
- Relevant experience in the PR & Communications (desirable)
- Strong interest in the PR & Communications
- Excellent communications skills verbal and written
- Collaborative approach, ability and willingness to support the team and adapt to requirements
- Desire to learn and develop both through formal education and on the job
Salary
£24,000 - £27,000 depending on experience
