Social Care ICT Systems Finance & Training Analyst
Overview:
London Borough of Harrow has an exciting new opportunity for a Social Care ICT Systems Finance & Training Analyst to support the development of all finance-related business processes within Adults and Children’s Services. The Finance and Training Analyst is responsible for the governance and management of the change process and provides expert advice and training on finance and business processes to senior managers, finance and social work staff.The purpose of the Finance and Training Analyst is to lead an effective training and support offer within Adults and Children’s Social Care and associated Finance.
The postholder will be providing a key function within the Social Care ICT Systems Team, undertaking full life-cycle bespoke finance development and system integration projects. They will support the development of finance-related business processes, manage the change process, and collaborate with key stakeholders to embed new finance and system processes.Moreover, they will provide expert advice and training to senior managers, finance, and social work staff, manage an effective training and support offer within Adults and Children’s Social Care, and continuously improve the training and support strategy for the directorate’s ICT solutions through various media and training offers.
Please note this role requires travel for business purposes and flexibility in working outside normal office hours.
About you:
The successful candidate will have:
- A working knowledge of Social Care IT systems such as the Mosaic Solution and/or the ability to rapidly assimilate new systems.
- Excellent Knowledge and experience of finance modules on Mosaic or other social care information system finance modules and associated legislation.
- Expertise in developing and managing finance related business processes and translating these into IT systems design
- Experience of carrying out and supporting financial uplift processes including FABU and annual roll costs forward process.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, focussing on customer care, quality and value.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, appropriate to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of and commitment to Equal Opportunities, understanding and commitment to council policies and their application to employment and service delivery.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent or has the equivalent relevant work experience.
