Job overview
Are you caring, compassionate, motivated and interested in developing your career within the health service? Join us at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, train to become a qualified Physiotherapist and gain a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy whilst you work.
The Physiotherapist apprenticeship is a new and innovative route to ‘Learn while you Earn’ and combines 4 years of clinical employment, work based learning, and academic learning.
During the apprenticeship you will develop skills and knowledge that will allow you to work in today’s dynamic and changing healthcare environment. Whilst you will be based in one specific team, your placements will give you a variety of learning environments working across both internal and external clinical placements to gain an appreciation of the different areas of the local healthcare service.
As an apprentice you'll have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge, skills and experience during placements across the trust and be provided with dedicated time to study for a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in conjunction with University of Brighton.
Once you have completed all the requirements for registration as a qualified Physiotherapist, you will become a Band 5 Physiotherapist within the Trust.
