Here at Barrow Hill Veterinary Hospital, we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. There will be various shift roles including clinics, dispensary, theatre, and in-patients.

Barrow Hill Veterinary Centre is a purpose-built building situated in the beautiful Garden of England, Ashford, Kent. We are close to Ashford international station and shopping outlet , 15 miles from the coast and euro tunnel for access to Europe and the beautiful city of Canterbury is only a 20 minute drive.

We have state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, orthopaedic equipment, k-laser unit, a CT scanner, and endoscopy. We have separate dog and cat wards and a separate isolation ward.

Currently our team consists of 9 Veterinary Surgeons supported by 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 1 Kennel Assistant, a Client Care Manager and a supportive front of house team, We have three vets with a Cert AVP, and another with a Cert SAO and Cert VR.We have visiting specialists in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, and cardiology.
The position is full time Monday-Friday with 1:4 Saturday shifts. The earliest start time would be 8am and the latest finish time 8pm. There are no out of hours. Saturday shifts are worked on a rota and consist of alternating inpatient and consult shifts.We are open to working with you to secure the appropriate shift pattern for you and us.
