Ready to put your litigation skills to work in a role that’s varied, meaningful and part of the firms biggest team? We’re working with a UK Top 100 law firm looking for an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join their growing education practice.You’ll advise schools (mostly independent ones) on risks, liability and defend them in uninsured civil claims (mainly abuse).
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing a busy and varied caseload from start to finish.
- Advising schools on risk mitigation and handling claims effectively.
- Defending complex and sometimes high-profile cases with confidence.
- Working in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified lawyer with litigation experience (possibly from an Insurance background), ideally with experience in defending claims against schools, particularly in abuse claims.
- A problem-solver who can confidently manage multiple cases and communicate effectively with clients.
- Detail-focused, proactive, and able to take ownership of your work.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Important Info:
- They're eyeing Associate or Senior Associate level (3-7+ years PQE), but they’re open to others if you’ve got the skills.
- If you’re newer to this, expect a couple of days a week in the Bristol office to settle in—otherwise, flexibility is on the table.
