Behaviour and Attendance Officer
Do you have experience working in education, a multi-agency setting, the police, youth support or specialist support services? Are you passionate about supporting young people to improve their attendance, behaviour and attitude towards being in education?
Class People are currently supporting a local educational establishment in the recruitment for a Behaviour and Attendance Officer to join their team on a temp to perm, full-time basis working term time only.
What are the roles and responsibilities for the Behaviour and Attendance Officer?- You will help students to manage their behaviour by producing support plans, attending behavioural meetings and removing from lessons when needed.
- To provide individual/ small groups of students behavioural and attendance management strategies to improve their ability to succeed within school.
- You will analyse student attendance and monitor for persistent absences – working collaboratively with the attendance and welfare team to devise and implement intervention strategies.
- Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour.
- Someone who has a proven track record of supporting young people to achieve success both in and out of the classroom.
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of behavioural management training would be desirable.
This role is subject to satisfactory references and a valid Enhanced DBS check.
This opportunity is paying up to £30,300 (pro rata) per annum working full-time, term time only.Working out as an hourly pay of £12.83.
