Our client is well-respected, firm of Quantity Surveyors & Project Managers, seeking an energetic and confident Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team based from their Ely office. The SQS will be providing contractor support, working on pre/post contracts up to final accounts for a range of main contractors.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of projects across the residential/commercial sectors, with values ranging from £100k to £500 million. With an emphasis on staff satisfaction, our client offers a competitive package with 25 days holiday excluding the Christmas shutdown, Hybrid working and APC support available.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Position Salary & Benefits- Salary: £50k - £70k (Guide Only - Open To Discussion)

- Carry out estimating services including BQ production
- Carry out quantity surveying services
- Provide the lead on commercial and financial advice
- Provide procurement and contract advice
- Maximise value recovery, cost control and cash management on projects worked on
- Commercially manage and control SC packages on projects worked on
- Assist in the protection of the Company's contractual position on projects worked on
- Prepare final accounts
- At least 3 years of industry experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Contractor or PQS firm.
- A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction or similar.
- Need to be willing to commute to Ely twice per week.
- Communicate effectively or build good working relationships
- Open to someone London based that is willing to travel to Ely 1-2 times per week.
