Hello,
My client is a leading supplier of food processing equipment and systems for various sectors. They are currently in need of a Cylindrical/Surface Grinder to join their team in Peterborough.
ROLE: To manufacture, to our drawings, parts that are supplied to our Assembly Shop or direct to customers
DUTIES:
• To operate manual machines
• Self-inspection of parts produced
• Work to defined schedules
• Work to planned times
• To be aware of and follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures including feeding back any H&S information to management
• Be aware of and demonstrate the company values and behaviours
SKILLS:
• Flexibility to work night shift (possible); also willingness to work overtime when required
• Able to interpret drawings and specifications
• Attention to quality
• Able to work well within a team environment and to offer improvement ideas
• High degree of self-motivation
• Flexibility to undertake other tasks in other areas
HOURS: 40 HR PER WEEK
• Days: Monday to Thursday 7.00 to 16.15 with 30 minute unpaid lunch break; Friday 7.00 -12.00.
• Nights: Monday to Tuesday 19.00 to 7.00 with 30 minutes unpaid break; Wednesday 19.30 to 7.00 with a 30 minutes unpaid break; Thursday 18.15 to 12.15
