Executive Assistant
An excellent opportunity has become available for a proactive and organised Executive Assistant to join a successful, family-run company located in Quedgeley, close to Junction 12 on the M5. This role will provide crucial support to the Founder in managing daily operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the team.
This position is well-suited for someone with administrative experience who is looking to advance into an Executive Assistant role. We’re looking for a confident organiser with a knack for keeping things running seamlessly – if that sounds like you, this role could be a perfect fit!
Salary: £20,000 to £28,000 per annum, dependent on experienceLocation: Quedgeley, with on-site parking available
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Office based)
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver general administrative support to the Founder, aiding in day-to-day tasks and business management.
- Oversee the Founder’s calendar, handling appointment scheduling and meeting arrangements.
- Organise travel and accommodation bookings, including planning travel itineraries.
- Attend meetings and networking events with the Founder to assist in relationship-building efforts.
- Answer calls and manage correspondence in a professional manner, redirecting as appropriate.
- Keep records up to date, carry out data entry, and prepare basic reports.
- Coordinate internal meetings, manage logistics, and arrange refreshments when required.
- Plan and coordinate staff social events, supporting the company’s event planning efforts.
- Assist with document preparation and some financial administrative tasks, such as updating spreadsheets.
Requirements:
- Some experience in an administrative or assistant capacity (ideally 1 year or more).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise work effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Work Eligibility: You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Visa sponsorship is currently unavailable.
