Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper

As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for a range of duties including accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Matching receiving documents with vendor invoices for material purchases
• Assisting with monthly A/P payment run and reconciliation
• Reconciling credit card statements
• Monitoring the ageing of accounts and collecting past due accounts
• Assisting with tax filings
• Providing customer, sales, and supplier support
• Performing other related duties, as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have an understanding of bookkeeping functions
• Computer proficiency with MS Office including Excel
• Detail oriented
