We're looking for a proactive and organised Admin Assistant to join our team and help keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves interacting with guests, enjoys the buzz of event planning, and is skilled at managing multiple priorities.

Role: Admin Assistant (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and assist with guest enquiries and reservations.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the efficient running of the restaurant.
  • Handle guest enquiries and feedback, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
  • Handle booking enquiries, including reservations for large parties, private events, and small functions.
  • Coordinate with guests to manage reservations, particularly those involving allergies or special dietary needs, ensuring excellent communication.
  • Produce weekly reports summarising restaurant bookings and performance figures.
  • Assist in tracking data and handling pre-orders for group bookings and special events.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure pre-order requirements are clearly communicated.
  • Liaise with other departments on-site to coordinate reservations and ensure seamless service.

Hours & Schedule:

  • Flexible hours ranging from 18 per week (across three shifts) to full-time availability.
  • Shifts are primarily during the day, with occasional weekend shifts required.
  • Flexible working hours are available to accommodate childcare or other existing commitments.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Experience in administration or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience working with MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Previous experience working with cloud-based reservation software is helpful.

Pay: £11,044.00-£21,476.00 per year
Expected hours: 18 – 35 per week
