Immediate start Support workers required for a busy day centre in Stoke-upon-trent (ST2 8DU)
Working hours- 8:50am-4:30pm MONDAY – FRIDAYRate of pay- £11.44 and hour

Must haveExperience and knowledge working with service users with autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
We are looking for Support workers to work in a day centre based in Abbey Hulton, which provides personalised support for adults with various needs and abilities including specialist support for individuals with high (complex) support needs.
Support workers passion to provide excellent standard of care and enjoy providing opportunities to enable service users with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours to develop confidence and fulfil their potential
Duties include
Help them participate and fully engage in activities.
May include personal care.
Undertake duties as delegated by the Manager or Team leader and as within capabilities and competence.
Assisting with food or helping service users eat. Special requirements may include PEG feeding.
Your day-to-day work may include using mobility aids and equipment to help lift and move service users.
Remain professional and maintain confidentiality of the service users at all times.
DBS and full training will be required within this role; Meridian will assist with both DBS and training.
