Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Wednesday afternoons, Thursday and Friday all day
Ribble Valley Borough Council is located in the heart of Lancashire. The borough is made up of picturesque towns and villages with scenic countryside; it is also known as the food capital of the north.We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced Environmental Health Officer to work within the fields of food safety and health and safety.
As part of a small multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for inspecting major food manufacturers, approved food premises and high-risk food premises. You will also assist in the management of infectious disease outbreaks and contribute to the response of major incidents, whilst keeping an active involvement in Health & Safety.
