A national business services company are now recruiting for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
Working in a rapidly changing and fast paced environment, the Management Accountant will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for a range of activities including monthly reporting and process improvement initiatives.
This role is with a stable finance team and is a crucial appointment to help the business grow.
Management Accountant duties- Creating monthly reports, processing standard and non-standard journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts and identifying areas for process improvement.
- Manage month-end processes, including accruals, provisions, and prepayments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review and present monthly financial results to management.
- Assist in the forecasting and budgeting process.
- Assist in the preparation of external audits.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables etc).
- Confident communicator and able to work with non-finance colleagues to present financial data in a clear way.
- Excellent commercial awareness, able to understand, question, and challenge information.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
