The Role: Teacher of Design Technology - This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled, creative and self-motivated Teacher to join a forward thinking Secondary School and well-resourced Design Technology Department. DT is a popular and valued subject with all students learning DT as part of the KS3 curriculum, with many students choosing to continue studying DT at both KS4 and KS5.The department offers Product Design, Food & Nutrition and Textiles to students but in particular this vacancy requires a Resistant Materials specialist.
This is a part-time position (0.6) contracted on Mondays to Wednesdays.

Like the sound of this role?
The ideal candidate we would like to speak to will possess:
- QTS or PGCE Qualification
- Design Technology specialist with at least 1 years experience teaching up to KS4
- Highly knowledgeable in GCSE DT curriculum
- Be passionate about teaching DT and promoting learning in DT for excellent results
- Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
- Be able to plan and deliver creative and stimulating DT lessons
