South Kent Coast Mental Health Services have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Administration Assistant to join our friendly Mental Health Together Service based at Coleman House in Dover

About the Opportunity:

This role offers you the chance to be part of a supportive team providing crucial support to a dedicated clinical team. You'll work alongside Consultant Psychiatrists, Community Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and other healthcare professionals.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the friendly voice answering phones and responding to enquiries.
  • Prepare and meticulously maintain clinical records and correspondence.
  • Assist clinical staff with administrative tasks.
  • Support colleagues working in the generic mailbox.

Main duties of the job

The varied role of the Administration Assistant will include:

  • Supporting the team to action work requests via the Mental Health Together generic mailbox, including the processing of referrals on the patient administration system (Rio)
  • Having contact with patients, carers, relatives, and other external stakeholders.
  • Reception cover will be part of this role.
  • Typing letters and reports.
  • Using the patient record system RIO (training provided).
  • Taking and screening phone calls and managing the MHT mailbox.
  • Ordering of stationery and other items as required via our SBS system (training provided).
