Teacher of Literacy
(Reading & Phonics and to include Management of the Academy Library)
Required to start 1st September 2025
Salary Range: £35,674 - £49,084
Overall Purpose of Post
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for reading and literacy. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate and develop our phonics and literacy curriculum, ensuring high quality teaching and learning across the Academy.The successful candidate should have KS2 expertise which includes reading and phonics teaching, as well as precision teaching for small intervention groups. The role will also involve the management of our newly refurbished Library, developing an environment which can be used to encourage a love of reading across the Academy.
Your focus will be to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities and to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of literacy and phonics learning across the Academy.
