Leasehold Services (trading as Zero Down Lease) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our team in London. Lease extensions can be lengthy and complex processes but we are dedicated to solving big problems and making a meaningful impact on the lives of our customers including by leveraging tech, AI and data.

Requirements
About the role
We are looking for an experienced, conscientious and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. As the primary point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in delivering a great service and positive outcomes for them.
You will be part of a small team and will work closely with the other parts of the business, allowing you to learn and develop a wide skill-set and help shape the future of this team as we grow. There are few areas of law in which you can gain both transactional and litigious experience and this is one of them.
Responsibilities- Being the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional support and guidance on their lease extension
- Handling customer enquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email, and other channels.
- Managing legal files, ensuring that they are organised, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Communicating with third parties such as solicitors, surveyors, and landlords to exchange information and negotiate on behalf of our clients.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Working with the wider team in improving our customer proposition, data and technology
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a legal role (paralegal, legal assistant, legal secretary or similar)
- Prior experience in leasehold enfranchisement / conveyancing / property law strongly preferred
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Self-starter who takes responsibility over tasks
- Customer-centric attitude
- Preferred (but not required):
- Formal legal training such as NALP Paralegal practice award, certificate, diploma; Postgraduate paralegal diploma; Law Degree; SQE; award in legal studies; and/or Legal secretary certificate or diploma.
Logistics
You must be eligible to work in the UK.This role will require you to work in our London office two days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remaining days.
