Quantity Surveyor – South Brent
A leading fit out contractor are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis due to awarded projects. This role involves technical challenges including providing a high level of service through client facing and client focused practices for a variety of projects with a value up to a couple hundred thousand.If you are commercially astute and have a proven track record in a similar role and excited about the possibility of a new role, then read on. This position could be suitable for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for progression!
Responsibilities:
- Review of Contract Documents and identify contractual risks
- Provide up to date information on anticipated final account figures and projected profit
- Provide feedback to estimators regarding actual costs
- Identify cost saving opportunities
- Identify and record variations to contract
- Monitor variation accounts, for inclusion where appropriate within client account
- Agree final accounts and reconcile with client account
Must hold experience working in a similar role
Must have excellent communication skills across all levels of staff and management - both internal and external
Must be computer literate in Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
