Head of Commercial Finance

Hays Senior Finance are exclusively recruiting and partnering with an established, profitable and ambitious retail business based in Hereford. Recruiting for a Head of Commercial Finance reporting directly into the Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities- Lead commercial finance, financial planning, financial analytics, and management accounting
- Support and drive business decision-making, business partnering with senior stakeholders across the business
- Manage 1 qualified and part-qualified accountant and work closely with the financial control and purchase ledger teams
- Work closely with the data team to ensure that data and systems are used to deliver accurate financial information and the optimal level of business insight and business efficiency
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent with 3+ years PQE
- Commercial Finance background is a must
- Strong team leader who has developed individuals and managed performance
- Excellent communication skills with experience of communicating at all levels
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, modelling, planning
- Good knowledge of accounting standards
- High level of numeracy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Have strong finance systems experience, including analytical tools
