Brief Description
We are excited to open applications for our Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship program, designed to nurture the next generation of mechanical engineering talent. You will be learning the principles of installing, servicing and maintaining mechanical equipment in an industrial environment.
Qualifications Required
3 GCSEs at 9 – 4 / A* - C (5 or above preferred), must include maths, English language, and ideally Science, or equivalent related qualification.

Training to be Provided
Together with invaluable commercial and practical experience, you’ll gain several academic and vocational qualifications throughout your time with us, which are fully paid for, including:- Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) – off the job full time at Make UK in Aston, Birmingham in year 1
- Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence)
- Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
- In house training in line with your requirements.

Apprenticeship Overview:- Engage in comprehensive training programs combining hands-on experience with academic learning.

- Learning the principles of engineering both academic and practical
- Repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment
- Following all relevant Company, Health and Safety & Quality procedures and processes
- Working with a team of mechanical fitters, who will teach you how to operate and maintain the full range of equipment
- Preventative maintenance tasks as per schedule
- Assisting work managers with electrical problems at their sites
- Reporting any unsafe plant or operations to your line manager
