An opportunity has arisen within the Involvement, Recovery & Wellness Centre, working Cheshire Wide, for a person to job share with the current Resource, Engagement & Participation Manager for one day a week (7.5 hours) to aid with succession planning.

This role takes on the responsibility for overseeing the delivery of high-quality administration and engagement activities, implementing process and procedures, to ensure that safe quality standards are maintained and assured. The person will need to be able to work well under pressure in a potentially busy and noisy environment, as well as have administrative experience and feel comfortable networking, presenting, and overseeing engagement events Cheshire Wide that cover both primary and secondary care.

The role supports a team of lived experience members that in turn supports the users of CWP services. Therefore, a high level of organisation, knowledge and experience is required, to help the team take the initiative to successfully implement promotional engagement activities that involve putting the service user at the heart of everything we do.

This is a permanent part-time post for 7.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities involve.
  1. The post holder together with the Team Operations Manager will ensure that effective administration processes are in place (including HR processes, etc) for induction. This will include supervision, appraisal, performance management and absence management. These will be monitored on a regular basis to ensure adherence to policy standards and requirements.
  2. To lead, develop and deliver Involvement, Participation, Engagement activities Cheshire Wide and work closely with CWP's Patient and Carer Experience Team.
  3. To support and eventually lead on the coordination and delivery of the Expert Patient Programme, Cheshire Wide, in strict alignment with the EPP DoH Licence requirements and CWP policies and procedures.
  4. . To contribute to effective multidisciplinary working, build and maintain positive working relationships with all team members, and other services within the Trust, to ensure effective interface and continuity of care between disciplines and services.
