This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Senior Quality Analyst who will play a major role with the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The role is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations.

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Lead end-to-end testing efforts for large-scale software projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and within budget.
Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, cases, and scripts across various platforms and devices.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and security testing to ensure the software meets required specifications.
Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing technical leadership and support.
Collaborate with development, product management, and other teams to understand requirements and identify quality assurance challenges.
Drive improvements in the overall QA process and tools, ensuring consistency and best practices across all projects.
Lead defect tracking, reporting, and management, ensuring issues are identified, resolved, and communicated effectively.
Develop and implement testing metrics and reports to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and improve testing processes.
Review and evaluate software requirements to ensure testable and verifiable outcomes.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies, and continuously improve testing methodologies.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with significant experience in senior roles and leading testing teams.
Deep knowledge of both manual and automated testing processes and tools.
Strong experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, QTP, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
Expertise in using testing tools such as JIRA, ALM, Jenkins, Git, and other related software.
Experience in performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
Strong knowledge of systems - IPAS, CADIS Markit EDM.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation scripting.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automated testing to ensure continuous delivery of quality software.

Proficient in defect management practices using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

Advanced knowledge of automated testing (Testpartner, QARun & QADirector)
Advanced knowledge of performance testing (QALoad, Server Vantage, Network Vantage).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues and collaborate on solutions.
Experience in different languages and platforms (Datastage, SAS models, C++, C#, VB. NET, java 2, Oracle, Teradata, Markit EDM Google Cloud Big Query, and SQL).
Knowledge of SQL and databases using TOAD & SQL plus, Google Bigquery etc., along with data warehouse and enterprise data management systems such as google cloud platform, Teradata, Hive and Oracle.
Familiarity with performance tuning and optimizing testing scripts for faster execution.

ISTQB or similar industry-recognized QA certification.
